Tanssi: Modular Appchain Infrastructure Powered by Dual-Token Flywheel - What You Need to Know
Modular Appchain Stack, $TANSSI Token & More
Tanssi is building a modular infrastructure stack enabling developers to launch sovereign, high-performance blockchains in minutes.
With mainnet now live and new appchains like Scenium coming online, Tanssi is executing on its vision: compressing the time-to-launch for sovereign networks while abstracting away operational complexity like sequencer recruitment, economic security, and infrastructure provisioning.
In today’s edition, we revisit Tanssi’s architecture and explore the ecosystem’s evolution, $TANSSI’s token mechanics, and newly launched deployments.

Appchain Infrastructure: From Vision to Execution
Tanssi’s orchestrator chain is the core of its modular framework. It coordinates decentralized block production via sequencer pools, routes shared security through Symbiotic’s ETH restaking, and provides bundled data infrastructure (RPCs, oracles, indexers, wallets). Each deployed appchain retains full sovereignty, from tokenomics to upgrade logic while offloading infrastructure coordination to the network.
By combining shared Ethereum-grade security with instant chain creation, Tanssi offers an alternative to rollups or Cosmos zones that often require lengthy validator setup or centralization trade-offs. This unlocks a new path for projects seeking both performance and independence.
The $TANSSI Token: Dual Representation & Incentive Flywheel
At the core of Tanssi’s architecture is a dual-token model that supports both operational utility on the Tanssi chain and capital coordination on Ethereum. $TANSSI exists in two interchangeable forms: 1. As a Substrate-native token; 2. As an ERC-20 version bridged to Ethereum designed to optimize for distinct functions across infrastructure, governance, and ecosystem participation.
This enables the Tanssi network to bootstrap liquidity, scale validator participation, and align stakeholders around a vertically integrated sequencing economy.
Native $TANSSI (Substrate):
Used to pay sequencing fees and register appchains
Bonds to sequencers to determine block production rights
Powers governance (staking, delegation, voting)
Pays for on-chain bridge operations
Acts as the base currency for ecosystem-level services\
ERC-20 $TANSSI (Ethereum):
Enables Ethereum-native staking through Symbiotic vaults (coming soon)
Facilitates participation from Ethereum-based capital, wallets, and infrastructure
Used for liquidity provisioning, exchange integrations, and validator incentives
Designed for broader accessibility by tokenholders outside the Polkadot/Substrate ecosystem.
Together, this system creates a multi-layered economic flywheel in the following ways:
Appchain Deployment → Sequencing Demand
Builders use native $TANSSI to launch chains, driving demand for sequencing and network activity.Sequencer Bonding → Network Throughput
Sequencers bond $TANSSI to secure their slot in block production, earning fees and “surge tips” during peak traffic.Revenue → Token Sink and Treasury Growth
Sequencing fees (paid in $TANSSI) are either burned or recycled to the treasury, generating a deflationary pressure or reinvestment pool.Staking Participation → Security and Retention
Native holders can stake without slashing risk and ERC-20 holders can (soon) stake into Symbiotic validators, strengthening shared economic security.Governance → Adaptive Upgrades
Governance participants can vote on slashing parameters, appchain onboarding criteria, treasury allocation, and fee policies to further align incentives around network sustainability.
Token Distribution Info
The genesis supply is 1 Billion.
At TGE, a portion of the 1B $TANSSI supply enters circulation, with the remaining tokens following a vesting schedule. The following unlocks upon TGE:
Core Community & Ecosystem Programs - 30% unlocks at TGE.
Early Community (LFD Campaigns) - 20% unlocks at TGE.
Foundation Reserve - 30% unlocks at TGE.
Scenium Deploys: Real-World Capital Markets on Tanssi
One of the most notable recent launches is Scenium, a cross-border investment platform building its appchain on Tanssi. Scenium's appchain enables instant access to public-private markets with 24/7 uptime, fast settlement, and regulatory-grade compliance. This is a use case that is difficult to support on traditional monolithic L1s.
Scenium leveraged Tanssi’s stack to deploy a customized, Ethereum-grade secured appchain with built-in sequencing and modular tooling which went live in minutes.
It highlights a broader trend of financial apps vertically integrating their infrastructure to control UX, compliance, and economics at the chain level.
